Kids' Podcast - Wow in the World - Road Trip Wonder
It's no secret that I love listening to podcasts around here. In the morning when I'm waking up, in the afternoon while I'm making dinner and at night while I'm sewing away.
They're free, entertaining and easy to access off my phone. Say no more. I'm sold.
So imagine my excitement when NPR rolled out a new podcast for kids called Wow in the World. The tagline: "A new podcast for curious kids & their grown-ups." Yes! Finally, a podcast for Little Mama too!
Hosted by Mindy and Guy Raz (also the host of How I Built This, a fantastic podcast about entrepreneurs!), this show features stories about science and technology that are fun, interesting and made for kids.
And there's NO screen time involved! I repeat, no screen time involved.
Let me tell you, Little Mama is hooked. She absolutely loves listening to this podcast and looks forward to it every Monday and Thursday when new episodes are released. Her words exactly: "It's absolutely exciting with wow-worthy stories."
It's spurred on lots of interesting conversations too...
The other night at dinner, she turned to my husband and said, "Dad, tell me all about the genetic code." Wait, what???!!
