Getting Ready for the Solar Eclipse!

In other news....

It's countdown to Monday's Total Solar Eclipse here in America, when the moon completely blocks the sun. 

Imagine that -- daytime fades to darkness, but only for a few minutes.  Eeek!  Are you lucky enough to be in the path of totality?!

Well, we're not.  But that didn't stop us from getting our solar eclipse viewing sunglasses to see a partial eclipse.  Go get 'em before it's too late! Because remember --  it's never safe to look directly at the sun without proper eye protection to filter the view!  We picked ours up at our local science museum.  

US Postal Service stamps!  Heat-activated moons 

Press.  Apply heat.  Watch moon appear.
